Rates & Insurance

I am considered an “Out of Network” provider for insurance companies. This means you are required to pay in full at each session. If your insurance will accept out of network providers, I can provide you with an itemized bill (insurance companies refer to this as a “superbill”) that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.  I do not guarantee that your insurance will reimburse for my services.  Please verify with your insurance if this is an option. Here are a few questions to ask when you speak with your insurance carrier: 

• What are my mental health benefits?

• Do my benefits cover sessions with an LiCSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker)?

• How many sessions are covered?

• What is the covered amount per session?

Individual and Family Sessions: 

50 minutes $150

60 minutes $180

Intake (Initial Session): 60 minutes $200

Support Services: (i.e. coordination of care with requested providers, school meetings etc.) pro-rated at $180/hour, 10-minute minimum

Payment is due at the time of services. I accept cash, checks and all major credit cards.

I offer a complimentary 15-minute phone introduction before we move forward to schedule our first session. During this time I invite you to ask any questions that will help determine if we are a good match. My hope is to address concerns you may have about beginning therapy.  If I am unable to support you (i.e. due to scheduling conflicts, the concern being out of my scope) I will refer you to a therapist who may be a more appropriate fit.
